The
Pilot International Foundation sponsors three scholarship programs, The
PIF/Lifeline Scholarship, The Marie Newton Sepia Memorial Scholarship,
and The Pilot International Foundation Scholarship. Applicants for these
scholarships must be preparing for, or already involved in, careers working
with people with disabilities/brain related disorders. They must have and maintain a GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and a 4.01 on a 5.0 scale. In addition, the
Foundation administers Pilot International's Ruby Newhall Memorial Scholarship which is awarded to International students studying in the US and Canada.
Applicants must have and maintain a 3.0 GPA.
- The PIF/Lifeline Scholarship Program: Funded by Lifeline Systems,
Inc., the leading manufacturer of personal emergency alert equipment,
this program assists adult students who are reentering the job market;
preparing for a second career or improving their professional skills
for an established career.
- The Marie Newton Sepia Memorial Scholarship Program: The program
assists graduate students preparing for careers working with children
having disabilities/brain-related disorders.
- The Pilot International Foundation Scholarship Program: The program
provides assistance to undergraduate students preparing for careers
working directly with people with disabilities or training those who
will.
- The Ruby Newhall Memorial Scholarship Program: This program provides
aid to international students studying in either the United States or
Canada. Applicants must be full-time students majoring in a field related
to human health and welfare and must have spent at least one full academic
semester in an accredited college in the United States or Canada before
applying for a scholarship.
All applicants for a Pilot International
Foundation scholarship must be sponsored by a Pilot Club in their home
town, or in the city in which their college or university is located.
Applications for the Foundation's scholarship programs are available through
this web site, however, they are only accessible by Pilot Club members.
We will not respond to any applications received by PIF without appropriate
signatures by a Pilot Club president.
